Stare at it, go neutral, meditate on it, write statements on it, feel it, make affirmations on it, cut it out and paste it to see it daily, There are several ways to color a mandala. Here are a few benefits and ways to color them:
1. Coloring mandalas are a great way to reduce stress as you are focusing on whatever you are coloring.
2. Your creative nature will unfold whether you color in the lines or outside them.
3. Whatever colors you choose will be perfect.
4. We have both one word and knowing affirmation mandalas, so we find it helpful to focus on what they are while coloring.
5. Some like to have meditative music playing and we offer mediations that can be played while coloring. Some choose silence. Whatever works for you.
6. While your thoughts may drift while coloring, bring them back to the word or affirmation you are coloring.
7. The Mandalas were made by several different artists and done with great intention and focus on the word/words created. There is already a great energy to them.
8. Stare at it, meditate on it, write statements on it, feel it, make affirmations on it, cut it out and paste it to see daily.
There are so many ways people meditate and so many different styles of it. People will TELL YOU that you have to sit up, lay down, eyes open, eyes closed, spine straight, do not cross any body parts, breathe deep, breathe shallow, count your breaths, meditate for certain lengths of time, etc., It can get confusing.
We want you to feel good about meditating and not worried about if you are doing it 'right'. For our meditations we want you to do what feels right for you. Here are a few guidelines we have found helpful:
1. We do encourage you to be comfortable. Whether that is lying down, or sitting up is your choice. Your body will adjust to where it needs to be to receive the best.
2. We do encourage you to focus on your breathing. What breathes and for how long is up to you and what gets you in that place of comfort. I use my favorite numbers to count in, hold and then breath out. It is more about the deeper breaths.
3. Meditate when you choose to and are not feeling rushed. We find mornings are helpful to set the tone but if not, whenever you can and even more than once if needed.
4. Do whatever you want with your body parts, sometimes we find having our hands on our stomach helps feel the deep breaths, sometimes using different hand/finger poses are helpful.
5. In some of our meditations, we focus on one word or affirmations. You can think of the word or affirmations, feel them, say them, spell them out, repeat after you hear them, visualize them, hear them being said.
6. You can use music or be still and silent. Some use apps with sounds or use their favorite music. Others like the quiet or a distant sound. Our meditations offer different styles of music.
7. We make our meditations 1 minute up to 15-20 minutes. if you feel you need more then loop the music track.
The How to for Guidance, Support and Sessions is quite straight forward. Are you having an issue with a subject matter/situation/person? There are so many techniques and guidelines you could follow. We present the questions because we find by asking a question it opens you up to more solutions versus a plea, a statement, a demand. A question changes the energy and allows for more answers to come your way. Especially if you are truthful with your answers. And the thing with truthful answers is they are yours. No judgement-don't make yourself right or wrong with them, They are what they are in that moment with the opportunity to change them if you want. What may you want now?
By being open to guidance and support you may discover new possibilities and perspectives. We have great, meaningful sessions! A typical session:
1. Clients have read and answered the Guidance and Support questions and still would like a session.
2. A purchase from the Store has been received by DYNAMICS Series.
3. DYNAMICS Series team member will contact you to set up your preferred communication means (phone, messenger, Skype, Zoom) as well as date and time. We are located in the time zone of PST.
