~ a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not OR any group of people closely related by blood or marriage, as parents, children, uncles, aunts, and cousins:
Does that definition serve you?
We feel family is who you make it. It can be what the definition says above and it also can be an expansion of that. It can be others that because of whatever reason you now call family. They may share love, give and show support to each other, feel important and valued around each other. How you define family is really up to you.
Now the family dynamics are more about interactions with each other while taking into account individuality. Knowing and understanding the dynamics in a family is usually a life long journey as everyone is constantly evolving and circumstances/patterns are constantly changing. We are going to be exploring this more and offering resources to help.
