THE STORY....HOW KID Dynamics™ UNFOLDED
One Sunday afternoon in 2005, while attending an empowerment course we sat to do a quiet meditation and I had an epiphany (ahha moment), especially from that meditation. I thought of all the time, energy and money I had spent in my adult life trying to replace and heal some of my childhood thoughts/beliefs, patterns, programming and behaviours that didn't serve me now. I thought of how many others have been at this point in their life where they are questioning the same thing. I thought of how many of those things may not be their own and how have they been influenced as they grew up.
Understanding we all have these things in our journey, it was my focus then to offer empowering and education for our youth, providing some tools and resources they need to grow up being more conscious of their choices, empowered and connected to their inner power/guidance, was my mission. To be more consciously empowered at a young age and carry that through their life regardless of others choices.
It sounded so simple! At that moment I knew what I needed to do. I was passionate to find a program that matched my vision, given I had a very young daughter at that time and wanted her to be brought up that way. I did my research but did not find what I envisioned, what I felt that day. So what to do? Where there is a need, fill it! How most things are created.
Ever had one of those moments? Something just feels right and something clicks and nothing can stop you.
So, I empowered myself and created one of my own programs and called it: KID Dynamics. It was an inspiring time for me; quite an adventure as my creativity flowed! I remember waking at night with ideas about how it would look and what the possibilities were. It was important that I stayed true to the feeling and vision I received initially. I knew I needed to include everything I had wanted to learn as I grew up for a kid/tween/youth program, yet keep it flexible.
Once the first draft of the program was complete, I started teaching it at home where it was tweaked several times, then it expanded to many other homes, schools, and Centres (see the below picture on being honored). The interesting part is I have and am still getting guidance on how to expand this program and all it's aspects many years later. There is a bigger vision for this that I am growing into!
